Other Streaming Platforms

Currently the only officially supported platforms are Youtube and Twitch

But your server can stream to other ones too, here's what you need to know

You will need the following:

  • Your platform's RTMP url, which should look something like this: rtmp://lhr04.contribute.live-video.net/app/​

    • If your platform provides RTMP based on location choose the closest one to New York, US

  • Streaming key, something like this: edadg-71ga5-es1t9-vhmdz

    • Note, these could be combined like this: rtmp://lhr04.contribute.live-video.net/app/edadg71ga5es1t9vhmdz

  • Instagram:  Doesn't support RTMP streams

  • Facebook:  All streams limited to 8 hours

  • LinkedIn:  All streams limited to 4 hours

  • RTMPS url's
